This song was improvised in a happy state of mind after we'd been to the hospital and looked at our first child Lio through the ultrasound machine. We called him Bam Bam because the first thing we heard from him was his heartbeat.
lyrics
E
Well it's raining outside today
it's really pouring out there today
A
but I am inside
E
drinking wine
B A E B
and singing to myself, things that are on my mind
We went to the hospital today
but don't worry about it though
Noone is hurt, but we're gonna have a baby
Jessie and I - so we went and saw it
with that ultrasound machine that they have there
And we saw it kicking and the heart it was beating
and it was sucking on it's thumb today
So I don't care if it's autumn outside
and the rain is pouring down
'cause Bam Bam is alive!
in Jessie alright, yeah!
Yea it's raining outside today
it's really pouring out there today
Yes but I am inside celebrating life
and singing to myself, things that are on my mind
